Our MTD-shooting heads have three important components of a modern shooting head for Scandinavian style fly fishing:

1. Double-density fly line design for optimal presentation of the fly. (Does not apply for floating model)

2. The weight concentrated in the rear section of the fly line that provides maximum loading of the fly rod.

3. All our shooting heads are custom models. Before use, they have to be customised to the optimum line length based on your fly rod, your casting technique and fishing conditions. A perfect customised shooting head will maximize your fly fishing.
